Great news aerobatic enthusiasts. Hammerfest 2022 is a go, although with a new name to reflect our new home...Hammers Over Hondo! Chapter 107 is again hosting our contest but this time at a new location...Hondo, Texas (KHDO).
Practice and registration will be on Thursday, 15 September 2022.
Contest flying will be on Friday, 16 September 2022 (all day) and Saturday, 17 September 2022 (hopefully complete by early afternoon so folks can fly home).
Back-up/rain day is Sunday, 18 September 2022.
While not requiring pre-registration I would still ask you to pre-register or contact me so we have a good base of information to plan with. Thanks in advance!
Hondo offers plenty of accommodations. While there is no official contest hotel, the local options are affordable and convenient. A quick perusal of several websites revealed the following options (in no particular order):
