Duel in the Desert is back at KWJF General William J Fox Airfield ("Fox Field"), hosted by Los Angeles Area IAC Chapter 49. This location offers convenience and safety with a friendly control tower, large runway, and a freshly marked aerobatic box. Expect ease of ramp access with a nearby fueling island (two pumps), a terminal building to hide from the sun, onsite restaurant, and no shortage of healthy food to graze on. That's right, a healthy food spread throughout the day to graze on in the terminal.
Ray's Aviation with the Figure 1 Foundation Racecar trailer full of tools will be in attendance to help anyone with technical and maintenence related issues should they arise.
This site is the home of frequent first Sunday of the month practice days from Chapter 26 as well as intensive week-long Unlimited coaching camps throughout the year. Join the Party!
Expect Breakfast and Lunch healthy food spreads provided in the terminal building with your entry fee.
