Please join us for a splendid spring weekend of flying at the premier contest of the Southeast! Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback received regarding our new location, we’re once again hosting the contest the Lagrange/Callaway Airport (KLGC). The airport is conveniently located in west central Georgia, 50 nm southwest of Atlanta. The airport has exceptional facilities and expansive ramp space. The layout will allow the judges, starters, conference room, fuel, and etc to be in close proximity and convenient. The airport manager is super excited to have us return! It is our hope that Lagrange will be our new home for many years to come!
See attached picture of the box. The box markers will be limited to the front of the box along the runway and the center will be clearly marked.
Lagrange has a very nice historic downtown with plenty of hotels and restaurants in close proximity to the airport. Lagrange has proven to be an outstanding venue for our contest.

HANGAR
Similar to last year, there will likely be a few T-hangars we can tuck away open cockpit airplanes or airplanes without tie downs. Thank you for understanding. Please bring your own tie-down anchors and ropes! Your airplane will be fine. Pretend you're at Oshkosh or Sun n Fun.
LODGING
We have a group rate/lock at Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Lagrange. Call the hotel directly at (706) 668-5600 and mention the "IAC" group code. The slightly discounted price is $149 for either a King or Double Queen. Cancellations must be made by 11:59 PM two days before arrival.
Other great choices for hotels located along I-85 are Home2 Suites by Hilton, Hampton Inn, and others.
RENTAL CARS
Rental cars are available through Enterprise. The best way to make the reservation is to use AOPA’s FBO number for Enterprise, (866) 315-9155. You will also need to have a National Emerald Club membership number to arrange for FBO delivery. Enterprise and National are now conjoined. Please call the local Lagrange Enterprise office, (706) 883-8800 to confirm your reservation and ensure the car is set up for delivery. Enterprise is normally closed on Sunday, but they are allowing Sunday returns if the car rental is set up with FBO delivery. Please see the following AOPA link for details:
