Bio By Jackson Halsmer

I'm a passionate sales and marketing professional with experience in the powersports, personal protective equipment and aviation industries.  I grew up in northern Illinois and gained a college degree from the University of Iowa while also being a member of the swimming and diving team throughout my time in college.

Post-college I have had various marketing focused roles with companies across multiple industries, but have always enjoyed creating or assisting in creating impactful and engaging content.  I enjoyed it so much that I started my company, Race Grade Media, to be able to do more of it!  In addition to Race Grade Media, I'm also the Global Marketing Manager for Rabaconda, the leader in portable motorcycle tire tools.

I currently live in Delavan, Wisconsin with my amazing wife, Allie, and my two sons, Heath and Hayes.

While I am not a licensed pilot, aviation has played a unique role in my life and has been a passion of mine since I was little.  I've had several flying lessons from family members over the years and I have been going to EAA Airventure at Oshkosh every year, camping in Paul's Park, since I was 8 years old.  I also had the opportunity to work as a professional in the aviation industry when I was the Marketing Coordinator and Brand Manager for LIFT Aviation for several years.  It was a great opportunity that allowed me to work in one of my passions, see and experience new segments of the aviation industry, and meet many great people!

While I was in that role with LIFT Aviation, I met Jim Bourke and stayed in touch with him, even after my time at LIFT.  This connection eventually led to me being selected to help the IAC with some social media and email marketing efforts.  I'm very appreciative of this opportunity and am excited to be a part of the IAC!
