Join Us for the 2025 Northern California Classic Aerobatic Contest!

We are excited to announce the 2025 Northern California Classic Aerobatic Contest, returning for its Fourth year at the Tracy Municipal Airport (KTCY), conveniently located near the heart of Silicon Valley. This friendly and welcoming contest is ideal for first-time competitors, who will be paired with experienced pilots to ease their transition into competitive aerobatics.

Event Highlights

• Aerobatic Box: A permanently waivered aerobatic box adjacent to the airport allows for comfortable viewing of the action for contestants and visitors.
• Community Support: The event enjoys strong backing from the airport staff and Tracy City Council, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of spectators, food trucks, and fun activities for non-flying visitors.
• Competition Categories: We will feature a full schedule from Primary to Unlimited, including both Powered and Glider categories.
• Gala Dinner: Our Banquet & Awards will again be held at the Patriot Jet Formation Team Hanger, Byron. Dine on award winning BBQ surrounded by The Patriot's L39 and Mig Jets. An experience not to be missed!

Thursday, May 29th:

• 0900 to 1600: Registration & Tech
• 0900 to Sunset: Practice
• Evening: Volunteer Pizza Night

Friday, May 30th:

• 0645: Light Breakfast
• 0700: Mandatory Pilot's Briefing
• 0830 to Sunset: Flying

Saturday, May 31st:

• 0645: Light Breakfast
• 0700: Mandatory Pilot's Briefing
• 0830 to End Contest: Flying
• 1300 (Approx): 4-Minute Free Routine
• 1730 (Approx): Gala Banquet & Awards at Patriot Jet Team's Hangar, Byron Airport

Pricing

• Early Bird Entry Fee: $300 (Before April 30th)
• Regular Entry Fee: $350 (Before May 28th)
• Onsite Entry Fee: $400 (May 29th)
• First-Time Primary Competitors: $250

Registration Includes:

• Two light breakfasts (Coffee, Doughnuts, Croissants)
• Two lunches
• One Gala Dinner ticket (additional tickets available for $25 each)
  • There will be a small supplement ($10) for Beer & Wine at the Gala Dinner, soft drinks are free
• Contest T-Shirt (Send size with pre-registration, we'll do our best but have limited availability for onsite registrations)

Accommodation:

• There's a Holiday Inn and a Quality Inn in Tracy, we are working on a block rate at the moment and hope to have discounts available towards the end of January.
